After renders of Sony Xperia 10 III and upcoming Xperia Compact that surfaced recently, now the renders of the upcoming Xperia 1 III flagship phone has surfaced, thanks to @OnLeaks. This reveals that the mobiles will stick to 6.5-inch 21:9 cinematic 4K HDR display, which is same as the previus, but the bezels on the front have been reduced.
The mobiles is said to come with a unibody metal frame and a glass backside and measure 161.6 x 67.3 x 8.4~9.6mm (with camera bump). It reveals triple rear cameras with ZEISS optics with T* (T-Star) anti-reflective coating along with a 3D ToF sensor, similar to the previous generation, but the exact camera specifications are not known yet. However, the final back camera will use a periscope zoom lens offering better optical zoom.
The phone is said to retain dual front firing stereo speakers as well as the 3.5mm audio jack. In addition to camera shutter button there is a dedicated shortcut button which we had seen on the Xperia PRO that started rolling out earlier few week. It should be powered by the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5nm chipset 5G Mobile Platform.
The Sony Xperia 1 III is expected to roll out starting from Spring 2021 and the announcement is expected sometime in end February or before March end.
