realme has already proven itself to be the fastest-growing smartphone brand this year. However, the company is yet to do that in the IoT(Internet of Things) bazaar. And if the list of products launched in 2020 weren’t enough, a report says it’s targeting for more.
Vice President, realme, and realme India CEO, Madhav Sheth has say to IANS(via Zee Business) that the company is looking to bring more
than 100 AIoT and lifestyle products in 2021.
Madhav adds that the TWS will range to new generations of realme Buds Air,
realme Buds Q, and newer versions of Smart TVs. If we recall, the company new launched a Master Edition of the Buds Air Pro and a second-gen
Buds(Buds Q2) is already on the radar of leaks. Looking at the bazaar
perspective, a recent counterpoint report shows realme has beaten popular
JBL to occupy the Top-3 position(as of Q3 2020) in India
Besides, the company is no slouch in the smartwatch segment either. From
a nowhere to be seen brand towards the beginning to emerging as
the No.1 Smartwatch Brand in India, the company has seen it all.
That said, we are going to witness a multifaceted realme next year as per
Madhav’s statement. In the runup to top the charts in every segment, he says the
company is planning to expand hybrid offline market channels(eg. to Pharmacies) for
products like Toothbrush, Suitcase.
Upon heavy demand, it is also considering to include Smart Speakers, Air
Purifiers, Electric Juice Jar, ACs to the portfolio. Anyway, let’s wish the
company good luck for a successful 2021 outing.
